Template: Creating a “Fuel Gauge” Chart
October 1st, 2007 | by Michael |
JaxJason has shared another cool technique on the forums. This time he shows us how to create a “fuel gauge” style chart.
It works by using three pie slices. The middle one is our ‘needle’. By changing the size of the first pie slice and adjusting the third pie slice, we can move the middle one around kind of like a needle.
Just an example of how a little creative thinking might be used to introduce an unconventional method of input.
Thanks Jason, yet again, for showing us something cool we can do with Numbers. You can download the example on the forums.
Note: Since Jason posted this in the forums, please direct all comments / questions there.
