Nathaniel,

Good question. Would it be possible for you to post this question on AppleInquiry.com?

I think you could do something with sorting (if that will work with your project), but I would like to expose this question to a larger group.

Thanks,

- Michael

I've been trying to use Numbers to do barcode serial number invoices, so i'm using a usb scanner to input the information for the cells in the spreadsheet. I'm trying to do something similar, I want the sheet to highlight duplicate serial numbers (all in one column) so that I can remove the duplicate number...how would this be done?

There is no function allowing a formula to grab the color so the response is: NO.

Is it possible for Numbers to compute cell value based on it's font color? Eg. Cell A1=10 and A2=20 then A3=30 only if the font color of A1 and A2 are change to red. So if A1=(red font) and A2=(blue font) then A3=10.
