Template: One Month Calendar

by Michael on November 18, 2007

This is the first version of a simple, one month calendar template for Numbers.

Currently, all data must be manually entered. I will add functionality to auto fill dates and days when time allows.

Usage:

  • The month banner at the top is a text box, just type in the month you want.
  • The image is configured as a “media placeholder”, so all you should need to do to change the image is drag in a new one from the media browser.
  • The dates are simply cell values. Type the day numbers in for the month you are referencing.
  • If you added them, change the font color of the visible preceding month end days, and the next month beginning days to grey.

I hope you find this template useful. As I said, I hope that it’s functionality will improve in the future. If you have ideas for improvement, please post to this thread in the forums.

Hello, I am new to iwork and was searching for a monthly template like yours. I was able to download and use the template, but I am not sure where to put the folder other than the desktop, which is where it is now. is there a directory, or a place inside the application where I should drag the folder? Also, since this is a little more than a year old, I am wondering if any progress has been made on making the calendar more automated?
Regards, bonvie

I’ve just recently improved this template, adding the functionality to automatically generate the correct numbers in the right fields as well as a portrait and a landscape layout.
