Template: David Seah’s Compact Calendar for Numbers

Compact Calendar

This is a Numbers port of David Seah’s Compact Calendar.

David has developed a number of great productivity tools over the years including The Printable CEO Series. I highly recommend his site.

The Compact Calendar allows you to plan projects quickly, while envisioning time in a different manner than other tools such as a Gaant Chart. Specifically, you can look at an entire year at one time. Another nice feature is the different shading for weekends that helps to discourage utilizing those days in the planning process.

David has a very detailed post on how to use the Compact Calendar, so I will refer you there for usage instructions. My port is functionally the same. My reason for converting the template was so that I could embed it in another project.

Note: The formulas David uses in his template are not compatible with Numbers, so I made a lot of the changes manually.

Both the Sunday through Saturday and Monday through Sunday formats are included in this file on individual sheets. I have also included a link back to David’s site.

Just to let you know – the download link for this appears to be broken.

Will you be doing a Numbers port for the 2009 calendar?
