I found this detailed, single page, household budget template for Numbers on the iwork templates blog. The author states that it was converted from an Excel file, so it doesn’t display a lot of the Numbers formating flash. Still, if you are looking for a simple budget, this template may be just what you are looking for.

the external link leads to a website that makes me very angry. It is difficult to navigate and it’s poorly put together. This site is sooooo much better!

For some reason after downloading from that link, the pie charts on the ‘House Overview’ sheet seem to have gone bigger than designed, but they can easily be resized to fit nicely again. Don’t you just love those snap-to blue lines when dragging stuff about in numbers?
Next week as of Oct 17 09. Any luck yet?
