ROWS

Description

The ROWS function counts how many rows are in the specified range of cells.

Syntax

ROWS(cell-range)

• cell-range: A reference to a range of cells.

Note: If you select an entire column for cell-range, Numbers returns the total number of cells in the column, which changes when you resize the table.
